Septic Assistance

The Town of Bluffton has created a new program supported by a Federal Clean Water Act Section 319 Grant for Nonpoint Source Pollution Control Projects awarded by South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. The Septic System Program provides FREE assistance to residents within the Town limits to reduce the impact of failing septic systems on the May River and other waterways in its jurisdiction.

The Septic System Program will provide residents with free assistance for septic system inspection, maintenance and repairs. It is the Town’s intent to use this program to help create a safer community while also increasing the quality of life for all residents and preserving our rivers.

You are just three steps away from getting a helping hand with your septic system!
