Find Yourself

Does your property drain to the May River or is it in the Town of Bluffton?  It's easy to find out. Just follow these simple instructions:

1. Click on the May River Watershed image below or visit the Town's Bluffton Explorer GIS database

       2. Agree to the Legal Disclaimer

 

     3. The search feature is located at the top right of the page. Simply type in your address in the 

         search engine box and press enter. The program will automatically zoom into your location.

      4. Click on Map Contents, depicted by the clipboard image, at the top of the page

      5. A Layers Visibility pop-up menu will appear on the left-hand side of your window. Check the
          box next to the May River Watershed Layer.

 

      6. Next to the May River Watershed Layer, on the right-hand side is a small downward facing
          arrow. Click the downward facing arrow and choose the Zoom To option. You may also
          zoom in or out manually (depicted by the plus and minus bar on the right-hand side of the
          window) to obtain the map you desire.

     
      7. Is your location within the red boundary? If so, you are within the May River Watershed!
