Congratulations to MC Riley kindergartners and third graders for winning the MC Riley Elementary May River Cleanup Participation Challenge.

Congratulations to MC Riley kindergartners and third graders for winning the MC Riley Elementary May River Cleanup Participation Challenge. These students won an animal presentation from Coastal Kingdom's Tony Mills and Rob Lewis. Students learned about snakes, sharks, fiddler crabs, turtles, and more!
Coastal Kingdom is an award-winning, educational program that showcases plants and animals from Lowcountry habitats. It is a partnership between Beaufort County Government and the LowCountry Institute on Spring Island. The show is hosted by naturalist Tony Mills and filmed by Rob Lewis.
Students also heard from Mayor Sulka and Town Councilman Toomer about the importance of protecting our local water quality!
Thank you to everyone that came out!
