16th Annual May River Cleanup & 6th Annual Earth Day Celebration

Join the Town of Bluffton and Experience Green for the 16th Annual May River Cleanup and 6th Annual Earth Day Celebration on April 23, 2016! The Cleanup will kickoff at 9AM at Oyster Factory Park, at the end of Wharf Street, in the heart of Bluffton. Neighbors for Clean Water will be have a booth setup during both events! Neighbors for Clean Water Storm Drain Marking Program

Stop Pollution!  Neighbors for Clean Water marked 50 storm drains for the City of Beaufort, Mossy Oaks, Mossy Oaks Elementary, Beaufort Middle Schools and Cottages at Beaufort on March 11, 2016.  Remember “Only rain down the drain”.   Never put anything down the storm drain.  

Come out on March 21, 9:00 AM at the BI-LO / Sam’s Club Parking lot at 278 & Matthews Drive on Hilton Head Island and support your local Neighbors for Clean water drain marking.

Town of Port Royal reminds residents: “Only rain down the drain!”

March 5th the Port Royal Village Litter group helped mark storm drains at The Preserve Complex in Port Royal. Workers included Tom Klein, Port Royal Town Councilman, and his wife Mary Klein, Jane and Evan Abrams, and Pat Colli. This hard working team marked 47 drains in a little over an hour! Thank you Tom Klein and Kathleen Bray for helping us organize these wonderful volunteers to remind everyone that storm sewer outfalls drain to our local waterways.

Storm Drain Marking

On February 29th, Neighbors for Clean Water marked storm drains at the Beaufort County Administration/Law Enforcement Complex off of Ribaut Road. We had an amazing team and want thank everyone for their hard work!
Remember: Only rain down the drain!
The next storm drain marking event will be this Saturday, March 5 at 8:30AM at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church located at 1110A Paris Avenue in Port Royal. Adult volunteers are needed! Call 843-522-8100 for more information!
